About the Artist

Hello! I’m Naomi Hoffman, the artist and visionary behind Marian May Atelier.

With a Bachelor's degree in Studio Arts and a Master's in Art Theory, my journey has been shaped by a lifelong passion for creativity, artistic expression, and art history.

Whether it’s the roses in my garden or the opulent details of 17th-century art and poetry, I’m always looking for sources of new inspiration to infuse my work with a sense of romance and historical richness.

And of course, coffee is my constant companion—there’s something about the ritual of a fresh cup that fuels my creativity and keeps the ideas flowing.

In the Atelier, I pour my heart into every design, ensuring that each piece is a true work of art. My goal is to craft pieces that resonate deeply with those who wear them, adding a touch of romance and meaning to life’s most cherished moments.

Whether you're preparing for a wedding, a special event, or simply wish to indulge in something extraordinary, I’m here to help bring your vision to life with artistry, passion, and a sprinkling of fairy dust.

Who is Marian May?

The Atelier is named after my two grandmothers: Marian and Elsie May. These women inspired my love for art, for nature, and for genuine relationship with others.

By naming my Atelier after them, I aspire to live up to the examples they set for me as women of resilience, kindness, and joyfulness who loved story and loved people.

Before recently renaming the Atelier to better reflect my story and inspirations, I used to work under the name, White Sands Bridal. While we are working to update this website and our digital footprint, you may still see the outdated name occasionally used.

Our Core Values

Artistry

We value creativity over conformity and seek to create true works of art with transcendent beauty and truth that outlive trends and fashions.

Story

Stories have a transformational power that encourages us to explore the depths and complexities of love, hope, and courage and to nurture these traits within us, helping us to persevere through conflict, adversity, and uncertainty.

True Love

True love is selfless, timeless, and worthy of celebration and remembrance. We believe loving one another through kindness, compassion, and action is what builds true human connection.

Human Dignity

Every person has inherent dignity and equality with others and is worthy of respect, love, and understanding regardless of their outward appearance, personal beliefs, or conduct.

Excellence

We believe that excellence is a matter of integrity and respect. By holding ourselves to rigorous standards, we honor both our craft and the trust our clients place in us, ensuring that each piece is a true representation of our artistry.

Envisioning a Better Future, Crafting a Better Reality

I dream of a renaissance in the contemporary marketplace, where excellent craftsmanship, creative expression, and a human-centered approach thrive through the relationship of clients and local artisans.

In the Atelier, I aim to craft exquisite aesthetic accessories that unite transcendent beauty, lasting craftsmanship, and meaningful thought.

Outside the Atelier, I coach other artists and creatives, helping bring out their potential both personally and professionally.

I’m an open book.
